Another Wonderful Rehearsal!

On Wednesday, November 7th our Junior Choir met for their second practice. I am so impressed with how quickly the students are learning and responding to our warm-up exercises and simple songs. Please ask him/her about the song "Sit up Straighter"; I'm sure they can sing it for you.

Even though it's still Fall, we got in the mood for Carol-fest and learned a few songs about Christmas: Celebrations Around the World and Come, Holy Savior, Come. Thanks to choir parents for helping to write out choir words on chart paper.

Please keep "tuning in" to our Junior Choir Blog!
Mrs Martin

Note: If possible, please avoid giving your child money to buy concession items on Day 6 so that they can arrive on time. Also, please continue to remind your child of their Day 6 commitment to choir. If they miss a rehearsal, it is much harder to get caught up as actions are taught and new lyrics are learned weekly. Last, if you know your child is going to be away or is ill, please email me at: maryellen.martin@cssd.ab.ca

Final Choir Practice

Dear Choir Parents,

Our final choir practice over the lunch hour is on Thursday, January 26th at 12:30. Hopefully, signs of winter will still be visible for our concert!

It's also crazy hat and sock day which should make for a very colorful choir!

Just a reminder that if you can send in a photo of your child participating in a snow activity of some kind, it would be helpful in putting together a PPT during our short intermission. Photos should be sent in by Friday, January 27th.

Thank you for reminding your child of their choir commitment on Thursday.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Martin
