Concert - February 2nd

Just a reminder that we do have our dress rehearsal in the afternoon at 2:30p.m. If your child has a scarf, they are to bring it to school and wear it over their clothes for our choir performance. They will take it off for our mini-musical. Also, grandparents are welcome to attend the dress rehearsal.

Thursday evening performance:
Doors open at 6 pm. Students must be at school by 6:15.
At 6:15 choir students will go to the music room (Non-choir students will go to their homeroom).
The show will begin promptly at 6:30.
Please have students wear indoor shoes for the concert and not big winter boots.

We are really looking forward to performing our songs for an audience. Hope you are ready for “The Big Chill”.

Final Choir Practice

Dear Choir Parents,

Our final choir practice over the lunch hour is on Thursday, January 26th at 12:30. Hopefully, signs of winter will still be visible for our concert!

It's also crazy hat and sock day which should make for a very colorful choir!

Just a reminder that if you can send in a photo of your child participating in a snow activity of some kind, it would be helpful in putting together a PPT during our short intermission. Photos should be sent in by Friday, January 27th.

Thank you for reminding your child of their choir commitment on Thursday.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Martin

Happy New Year!

Junior Choir will begin again on Tuesday, January 10th. We have 4 songs to perfect before our Winter Concert on February 2nd. Our dress rehearsal will be at 2:30 pm and grandparents are welcome to attend. The evening performance will be at 6:30 for Gr. 2 and Gr. 3 family members. The Junior Choir is excited to open the concert and The Big Chill mini-musical will follow. Please mark your calendar!
Please note: Choir students will be asked to wear a scarf over their concert attire.

Musically yours,
Mrs. Martin
